Cross Country
On the morning of the 19th October, we took our cross country team to Eastbourne Sports Complex to compete in a town cross country event that was attended by many more schools. With the course being approximately 2km and the conditions being wet and muddy, it was a tough ask for all of the children there but the children of Corporation Road did us proud! They achieved very respectable positions in races – that in some cases – had over one hundred children running. The children represented our school very well with their display of good behaviour as well as being very sportsmanlike and cheering on each other as well as other children and schools.
