Every Friday between 1:30pm and 3pm we have a 'Stay and Play' session for 2 and 3 year olds and their parents/carers. It is FREE! Everyone is welcome, including families not currently at school. We look forward to seeing you!

Hello and welcome to the information page all about Nursery!
At Nursery, the children learn and develop through play and small group work in the following areas:
  • Listening and Attention
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Education
  • Physical Development
  • Literacy
  • Maths
  • Understanding the world
  • Expressive Arts and Design
Adults plan activities that are interesting to the children and work from the level they are at, helping their progression across all of the areas. In Nursery, we aim to help the children to become self-confident, independent in self-care and self-help skills and be interested in the world around them ready for entering the Reception class. We promote respect for ourselves and respect for others throughout Nursery life.
We see parents and carers as a partnership in their child’s learning as the Nursery children spend over twice the amount of time at home than in the setting during a typical academic week. We like to promote positive relationships with parents and carers and work with them to provide high quality play and care for their children both at Nursery and at home.
We hope you enjoy seeing all the fun things we get up to at Nursery.
