WRITING

A huge ‘thank you’ and ‘well done’ to those children who have shared some of their writing with me. I really enjoyed reading it and it was lovely that you shared it with me. I have read some really interesting and different stories- thank you!  J

Keep them coming! CPSClass16@corporationroad.darlington.sch.uk

Writing- write a story using the story prompt.

Use the picture… use it as a prompt to write a story.

I have included some story starters… you can use one of these but you don’t have to- use one if it will help you.

There are also some prompts, you could use these to help you write your story but again, you do not have to use them- use them if they will  help you.

Story starters
(You could use one of these story starters or use your own.)

In a world where everything seemed black and white, it brought colour. In a world where things were often bleak, it brought joy.

Many years ago a real girl had held a real balloon, releasing it into the sky as she hoped her dreams and prayers would be answered. Now, her image and memory were etched on the very walls behind the spot where she once stood.

Her story, and that of the red balloon, would be told for many generations to come…

 Prompts

Remember the features within your writing.

Email me any work to our class email address…  CPSClass16@corporationroad.darlington.sch.uk
