Cordporation Road Marvelous Me App

Year 3

Welcome to the Year 3 page of the website!

The children have made a great start to Key Stage Two – producing some interesting writing in English and impressing with their reasoning skills in maths.

Keep reading the newsletters to find out about our topics. With each topic we will send home a homework grid of interesting tasks that you could complete with your child.

Some of the books we will be using as a stimulus for our writing include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlotte’s Web, James and the Giant Peach and World’s Worst Children.

Please continue to read regularly with your child, as well as help them learn their times tables. By the end of Year 3, children need to know their 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables off by heart and the related division facts. Any help that you give at home will benefit them greatly.

Thank you!
Miss Powell and Mr Cornell
